About Us
Dale Gurganus was born and raised in the Rocky Mount, NC area. His father, Milton "Buster" Gurganus, taught him everything he knows about woodworking and he has been perfecting his craft for over 25 years. He and his wife, Debbie, take pride in their workmanship and work hard to produce a quality product. Using only quality materials, Dale and Debbie build a variety of outdoor and yard furniture.
Dale, a self proclaimed "Big Boy", has redesigned the classic Adirondack chair for comfort and stability. After trying to relax in a standard Adirondack chair he decided it could be a bit wider for his comfort and sturdier. After thinking about different friends and family members and the various sizes of people in general, he decided the chairs could be longer, taller, wider or shorter depending upon who would be sitting in it.
Dale also takes pride in trying to provide the same quality and comfort in all of his creations from swings to tables and chairs at an affordable price.
